Robinson offers a line of gripping plugs for tubes under high pressure, high temperature, or for hydrostatic testing. Gripping plugs are offered in a wide range of sizes and materials.
The long silicone rubber ring creates a leak tight seal as it strongly adheres to the metal tubes. The serrations on the end of the plug allow it to grip the ID of a tube and prevent the plug from possibly blowing out of the tube under high pressures, eliminates the need to weld plugs into place. Plug material and tube material should be compatible.
